Weekly Events

Coffee at the Hall

Tuesdays at 10:00AM

November 1st through April 30th

Volunteer needed each week to put the coffee on. Please contact Elsie Wiggins to volunteer or sign up on the provided calendar at the hall.

Monthly Events

Potlucks at the Recreation Hall 
Social - 5:30 pm
Supper - 6:30 pm

BYOB and a main dish, salad or dessert and come out for a great meal and social event with others at the lake. Held the third week of each month. A coordinator/host is needed each potluck to get things set up and facilitate the clean up afterwards - Let one of the WCOA members know if you are interested.

WCOA 50/50 raffles 

The WCOA will be hosting 50/50 raffles again this year on all long weekends in May, July, August and September. Details will be provided through emails, as required.

Our AGM is for members only, and we have been a membership Non-Profit Corporation since 1980. Please renew your $20 membership prior to the meeting to speed up registration. Renew by sending an e-transfer for $20 to wlcoa1@gmail.com, or cheque/cash at the AGM.  Memberships can also be purchased at the door, prior to the meeting. Receipts are provided for your records. We value our members and if you are interested in joining we would love to have you.

- Community tree, brush and garbage cleanup along Ramsey Drive and in Resort subdivision, usually last Saturday and arranged by the WCOA (watch e-mails or discussion at AGM) 

- May brush clean up around the hall and main road this year will be Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 9:00AM organised by WCOA. You can sign up many different ways; At the hall vestibule, call Wendy/Larry at 306-663-5863, or on our WCOA Facebook page we have started a chat. Let us know if you can come so we can order lunch for you!  Thank you!!

Sunday, August 4th: Parade, Kids' Games/activities, Horseshoe Tournament/cornhole, 50/50's, prize raffle & BBQ. Activities may vary based on SEC volunteers

These are huge events for the community both in fundraising and socially, we are happy to have you volunteer for as little or as much as you can!
